Rebecca Underwood is a psychologist and Board Approved Supervisor, registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA). She is a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPi), Australian Psychological Society (APS), holds student membership with the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA), and is on the committee of the APS Mornington Peninsula Branch. Rebecca is the founder of Progressive Psychology and holds the position of Director and Principal Psychologist.
Rebecca has extensive experience working with a variety of client presentations across the lifespan, including mood and anxiety disorders, sleep difficulties, substance use, grief and loss, anger, adjustment difficulties, and trauma. Rebeca draws upon prior experience working in early childhood education, the employment services sector and as a school counsellor to inform her practice, enabling her to establish a collaborative and supportive, evidence-based approach to treatment. Rebecca has a special interest working with complex presentations, including challenging behaviours and anxiety disorders in children, emotionally dysregulated adolescents presenting with self-harm or risk of suicide, working with mothers in the perinatal period, and providing parent education.

Bianca Bartling is a psychologist registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA). Bianca is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and holds an Associate membership with the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPi). She has a demonstrated passion for learning and commitment to education, having completed a Master of Counselling and Certificate in Suicide Counselling, in addition to a Master of Professional Psychology.
Bianca brings a wealth of experience to the team at Progressive Psychology, having worked in a variety of roles with the Anxiety Disorders Association of Victoria (ADAVIC), Mindfit, in a specialist forensic setting, and as a school counsellor. Bianca has a passion for helping vulnerable individuals from early adolescence onward, who present with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, a history of offending behaviours, and those with an interest in processing traumatic events. She has a particular interest in working with adolescents and adults presenting with high-risk and self-harming behaviours.
Bianca is also trained in the administration of
psychological testing and assessment, to inform cognitive profiles and the
diagnosis of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, for individuals aged 6
years and above.

Lauren is a Provisional Psychologist registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA). She is accredited with a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) from Swinburne University and is a student member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Lauren is in her final year of completing a Master of Psychology (Clinical).
Lauren has several years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults with varying presentations and across different settings. She has received training in several evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and is experienced in the assessment of Attention-Deficit/ Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Specific Learning Disorders in children. Prior to gaining registration as a Provisional Psychologist, Lauren was an Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) Therapist with children presenting with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
Lauren provides evidence-based and client-focussed psychological strategies to support clients to achieve their goals. She is also trained in the administration, scoring and interpretation of psychometric assessments which is a strong area of interest for Lauren.

Jacki Noney is a Provisional Psychologist registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA). She is accredited with a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) from Edith Cowan University and is an Associate member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Jacki is in her first year of a Master of Educational and Developmental Psychology.
Prior to gaining registration as a provisional psychologist, Jacki was a primary school teacher for 25 years and has completed a Master of Education and a Graduate Certificate in Inclusive Education. Jacki is particularly interested in supporting students with additional learning and behavioural needs, and assisting them to find the strategies that empower them to grow into their best selves.
Julie is the Director of First Impressions and fills the role of Receptionist/Administration Assistant. She has a wealth of experience in an office environment and is the go-to person and first point of contact for all your appointment and billing needs. Julie is passionate about helping people engage with our services and provide a positive client experience. She is the friendly face who will greet you and ensure you feel at ease, when you attend your appointment at the Rosebud office.
Sonya shares the role of Receptionist/Administration Assistant in both a front of house role and also behind the scenes. Sonya has extensive experience in office management and over 20 years’ experience working within the retirement living industry. She is passionate about service excellence and providing a positive client experience. Sonya will be a familiar and welcoming face who will greet you on arrival at the Rosebud office and over the phone.
