About Rebecca Underwood
Rebecca Underwood is a professional psychologist registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA). She is an Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and Treasurer and Deputy Chair of the Mornington Peninsula branch of APS.
Rebecca has experience helping clients with varied needs, including mood and anxiety disorders, sleep difficulties, substance use, grief and loss, trauma, anger, stress and domestic violence.
She has a special interest in working with complex presentations, including addictions (substance use), challenging behaviour in children, anxiety disorders and post-natal depression in mothers.
Rebecca has been employed as a school counsellor assisting children, adolescents, parents and school staff to manage a range of behavioural and psychological concerns. Rebecca has worked as both a Job Capacity Assessor and a professional vocational counsellor, supporting clients with psychological barriers affecting their return to work or study.
